Kicking it off

So here it is, my first blog that I will treat in a (mostly) serious manner. Just as a heads up: I am not an intellectual and I am by no means a writer. Whatever rules may bind blogs to professionalism – such as grammar, morals or gravity – do not apply here.

That having been said, this is the first entry to what will slowly morph into a diary of my stay abroad in Tokyo, Japan. Hurrah! Well, not quite yet as I am currently roughly 10900km (91 day walk, 130 day stroll, 217 day boogie board) away from Tokyo. But this will change on September 30th 2009. Until then, check back every so often to read posts about what I think of and how I am preparing for JAPAAAANNNN(paaannn..paann.. pan..)
